REQUIREMENTS
All HOPE members are required to complete the following each quarter to maintain their membership.
1. Attendance of Weekly Meetings
2. 1 visit to Opportunity House
3. 3 volunteering events (STEAC, EY, DCM Life Skills or Meal Service)
4. Two Outreach Events (Tabling, IRWS, HOPE Event)
5. Participation in one of the following Focus Groups
Development
Education
Mental Health
Special Events
Optional:
Social Events
Fundraising Events
Additional Hours of Volunteering
*Note: In your first quarter you will only have to complete half of the quarterly requirements, to ease you into the work that we do. Our volunteering occurs during the week, and not on weekends - with the exception of outreach events on occasion. Outreach can include a variety of different activities, including: tabling, representing HOPE at events for other organizations, or special events that we throw for the community. This is a flexible framework; HOPE is a project based organization, and you may find yourself involved in different things that may come up throughout the quarter.
