We Promote Homeless Outreach Through Prevention and Education.

Poverty is a growing problem in the United States.

According to recent investigation by the Census Bureau, about 15% of Americans are living in poverty, about 45 million. Within Davis, 28.8% of people live in poverty. Additionally, about 17%, or 52 million Americans are living without health insurance, accounting for approximately 26,000 preventable deaths in our country each year.

Many of these people just need a little help to get moving in the right direction. By providing education and preventing illness, we can foster an environment in which homeless and low income families in Davis can work towards better lives and bigger dreams.
