Due to COVID-19 health concerns and university restrictions, the Showers Program will be temporarily closed. We truly apologize for the inconvenience and are working hard to resume showers as soon as possible while also ensuring guests will be healthy and safe. **UPDATE: The Davis PD/City of Davis Respite Center is now open on Monday to Friday 7:30AM-3:30PM AND Saturday 7:30AM-3:00PM. These facilities include access to laundry and showers. We are currently providing toiletries, towels, and other showers supplies to the Respite Center.

Showers are a basic necessity...

...but finding accessible and hygienic showers is extremely challenging for individuals experiencing homelessness. Public restrooms rarely include showers and fail to meet the needs of those experiencing homelessness. Even in shelters, individuals are often limited to sharing a single shower with dozens of other residents.
To ensure that the Showers Program can continue to serve our community, HOPE at Davis is collecting donations to assist with the program’s insurance and facility fees. |
